Outdoor Learning Students Plant 500 trees

20 Outdoor Learning students planted 500 trees at our partner farm at Furzdown today. A woodland was started with Birch, Rowan and Apple trees and a hedgerow was started along an exposed fence line over looking the Fleet with hazel, Dogwood, holly, Downy birch, elder and hawthorn all being planted. The students also met the goats and horses and the new puppy. The students worked hard throughout the day and learnt a great deal about trees and how important they are to sustainability. They also got a good work out !
