Police Engage With Students Through Community Outreach Program
In an effort to support the local community and young people, officers from Dorset Police recently visited Wey Valley.
The officers began the day by touring the academy, where they had the opportunity to see first-hand the school’s facilities and meet with both staff and students. They then attended lessons, gaining insight into the academic life of young people in the area.
Lunchtime was spent in the academy’s canteen, where officers mingled with students, offering a relaxed and informal environment to discuss local issues, concerns, and ideas for how the police can best support young people in the community.
The outreach event is part of an ongoing effort by Dorset police to engage with local schools, fostering stronger relationships with the younger generation and addressing the unique challenges they face in today’s world.
